Updated for 2023, this fully inflatable tent now includes dual side extensions, a footprint groundsheet, and a lounge liner as standard. The Airedale's three-zone design offers unmatched versatility, providing ample living space throughout the entire structure with full standing height.
The front porch area serves as a convenient "wet room" for drying clothing and boots, as well as a space for food preparation or relaxation in the evenings. The central living space features a fully enclosed and sewn-in groundsheet, keeping bugs out and reducing draughts. The main sleeping quarters can accommodate up to seven people and can be configured into different layouts with adaptable bedroom dividers. With a depth of 240cm, the main bedroom comfortably fits camp beds and larger airbeds without the need for sideways positioning.
The standout feature of the Airedale 9.0DSE is its dual-sided extensions, pre-built onto the rear left and right sides of the tunnel structure. These extensions provide additional storage, living space, and sleeping capacity. The right extension includes a 2-berth inner tent as standard, increasing the total capacity to nine people. For even more sleeping space, an additional inner tent (ORBK8732) can be added to the left side (sold separately).
Updates for this model include inflatable tubes for easier pitching of the side extensions, replacing the steel poles used in previous years. The package now includes a porch groundsheet with Velcro attachments, ensuring a neater pitching experience in the front porch area.
The Airedale 9.0DSE is constructed with 240 HDE polyester fabric, a lightweight yet durable material designed to withstand variable weather conditions and dry quickly. With a hydrostatic head of 4000mm, the fabric offers excellent waterproofing capabilities. The tent features an Oxygen Air Frame, a tried and tested inflatable design with individual air tubes for quick and efficient pitching. The Dynamic Speed Valve allows for easy inflation and deflation. The air tubes are covered by a lifetime manufacturer's warranty (registration required) for peace of mind.
The tent boasts a sewn-in groundsheet throughout the living space, providing a comfortable environment and eliminating cold draughts. A footprint groundsheet is included, offering protection for the sewn-in groundsheet and facilitating a dry packing away process.
To enhance comfort and combat condensation, the package includes a lounge liner, which acts as a thermal barrier and traps warm air. Please note that this product is substantial in size and weight, with dimensions of 755cm x 740cm and a weight of 63.42kg (pack size: 936462).
