Toasters for Camping, Caravan & Motorhome Use
Whether you're plugged into hook-up at a touring site or off-grid with a gas stove, we have a toaster that fits. Three main types:
Low-Watt Electric Toasters
Designed not to trip a 6A or 10A campsite supply. Typically 600W-800W vs 1500W+ for a kitchen toaster. Perfect for caravans, motorhomes and tents on hook-up.
Stove-Top Toasters
Sit on a gas burner or camping stove - no electricity needed. The classic four-slice frame design works on hob, fire pit or open flame.
Toaster Bags
Reusable PTFE bags that turn any normal toaster into a sandwich-toaster. Great for cheese toasties on the road.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will a normal toaster work on a campsite hook-up?
A regular kitchen toaster (1500W-2200W) will trip most 6A campsite supplies and many 10A supplies. Stick to a low-watt camping toaster (600W-800W).
Are stove-top toasters any good?
They're brilliant if you're off-grid or want a backup that doesn't need power. Toast takes a minute or two longer than electric and you do need to flip the bread.
Can I use a 12V toaster in my campervan?
12V toasters do exist but are slow. Most van-life setups use a low-watt 240V toaster running off an inverter or hook-up.
