A most practical feature for siphon and odor trap is the opening for cleaning which can be accessed without tools. The Reich siphon is for redirecting waste water from water systems, for example; toilets, showers and sinks.
The siphon is also available with a second connection, for example for a draining sink. The drain pan for siphons and outflows have the largest possible diameter and are made of stainless steel. Siphons are available with two different, removable plugs: standard plugs or a strain with plug (only for 39 mm drain pan) which filters larger impurities and thereby protects the waster water system from plugging up. Both plugs are lock in the open position. A chain is not required. The electronic frost protection lid reliably protects the siphon or odor trap from freezing. It is switched on automatically using a thermo switch once the temperature ranges between 5�C and 8�C and has a power consumption of 2 Watt (12 V). Siphons and outlets are equipped with a pipe connection which fits with the REICH waste water system.
