I actually thought this was a gimmick until my wife purchased one and it stopped condensation on her car windows just by putting it under the seat. I was honestly impressed so purchased the bigger one. Its works superb, Windows no longer foggy and you simply recharge it by drying it out in the microwave for about 5 mins. Simple, ive orderd another one for my sons car

I was having a major issue with condensation in my car - the windscreen would be running with water every morning and would often freeze on the coldest nights. Clearing it was a pain so I thought I'd try a dehumidifier. This one seemed to fit my needs - a good capacity, velcro fixing and easy to dry. After a couple of nights with it attached to the top of the dashboard I noticed an improvement, but have to be honest that the weather had changed and was getting warmer and drier overnight so maybe the dehumidifier can't take all the credit. However, it did feel damp to the touch, and the weight had increased by over 100 grams so it was definitely absorbing some moisture. Don't have a microwave, but it dried pretty quickly on a radiator. Hoping I don't need to use this for a while now that summer's here!

Used in a car often filled with wet dogs and sports gear and made a noticeable difference to the amount of condensation on the windscreen during the winter months. Previously it took a long time to defrost and clear the inside of the screen and now less than half the time. Good product but don't expect miracles.
