Product Information

The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/70-Tr is a solar charge controller that gathers energy from your solar (PV) panels and stores it in your batteries, with a rated charge current of 70A. It handles a maximum of 150V from the panels and automatically detects and charges a 12V, 24V or 48V battery bank (36V with an additional software tool). It maintains battery health, extending battery life.

Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) constantly monitors the voltage and current from the panels. Especially under a clouded sky, when light intensity is changing continuously, this improves energy harvest by up to 30% compared with PWM charge controllers and by up to 10% compared with slower MPPT controllers. Built-in Bluetooth lets you set up, monitor and control the controller from a smartphone or other device with the Victron Connect app.
