Product Information

The Mestic RTA-2000 12V is a roof-mounted air conditioner for motorhomes and caravans that runs directly from the vehicle's 12 V battery, so no inverter is needed. It uses inverter technology: instead of switching on and off, the compressor adjusts its power continuously using temperature sensors, for a more stable temperature, lower energy use and quieter running.

There are two cooling power settings, 1230 W and 2020 W, and it is suitable for vehicles up to 7 metres long. You set the temperature between 16 °C and 31 °C with the included remote control, choose from 9 ventilation levels, and the indoor unit has dimmable LED lighting. The roof unit can be installed in four positions, each turned 90°, to leave room for solar panels or a roof box.
