The Kampa Tailgater Drive-Away Awning is a versatile rear-mounted awning designed for vehicles with a tailgate, including SUVs, MPVs, crossovers, large estate cars, and pick-up trucks fitted with a hardtop. Offering quick setup, generous sheltered living space, and universal vehicle compatibility, it's the ideal companion for touring, weekend adventures, festivals, and spontaneous camping trips.

Constructed from durable Weathershield™ 68D polyester, the Tailgater combines lightweight handling with reliable weather protection. The rear-mounted design attaches directly to your vehicle's tailgate, creating a practical extension that can be used for dining, relaxing, changing, storage, or sleeping.

The drive-away design allows you to disconnect the awning when exploring locally while leaving your pitch set up. Simply zip closed the connection area and drive away, then reconnect when you return. For additional sleeping accommodation, an optional clip-in 2-berth inner tent is available separately, transforming the awning into a comfortable overnight sleeping area.

Fibreglass poles provide a strong yet lightweight structure, while the clip-in groundsheet helps create a more comfortable and protected living environment. Suitable for vehicles with connection heights between 160cm and 210cm, the Kampa Tailgater offers exceptional flexibility for a wide range of vehicle types.
