The Floë Water System Drainage Kit provides a simple and practical way to drain down the water system in your caravan or leisure vehicle. By helping to remove water left within the system, it can protect against damage caused by winter frosts while also reducing the risks associated with stagnant water during periods when your vehicle is not in use.

Designed to make seasonal drain downs straightforward, the Floë system allows you to clear the water system in just a few simple steps. This makes it particularly useful when preparing your caravan or leisure vehicle for winter storage, as well as for regular drain downs throughout the year.

The Floë system connects to your vehicle's water system and uses compressed air to help push remaining water out through the taps, shower and other water outlets. The process can be completed in a matter of minutes, helping give you peace of mind that your water system has been properly drained before colder weather or periods of storage.

An instructional DVD featuring a drain-down demonstration is also included.

Water left inside pipes and fittings can freeze during cold weather, potentially causing damage as it expands. Draining the system helps reduce the amount of residual water left behind and can therefore help protect your leisure vehicle's plumbing during winter.

Regularly draining the system can also help prevent water from being left stagnant for extended periods when the caravan or leisure vehicle is not being used.

1. Step 1: Drain the water heater and open a tap to run the water pump for a moment. Turn off the power to the electric pump and close all taps. Fit the Floë device to the plug-in adaptor.
2. Step 2: Fit the Floë device and adaptor to the socket on the side of the vehicle.
3. Step 3: Attach an air compressor or foot pump to the valve located at the bottom of the Floë device. Compress the system to a maximum of 15 PSI (1 bar).
4. Step 4: Go to the first tap and run it until dry. Once dry, close the tap and repeat the process for sinks, showers and any other water outlets. When the system has been fully drained, leave all taps in the open position.
