The Mastervolt Mass battery charger is designed to deliver faultless performance in the toughest conditions, providing a stable power supply to every type of battery used in boating, even those that are flat. The unit it made from lightweight stainless steel, in an anodised aluminium casing. The internal components have been coated to prevent damage from damp or condensation, ensuring long life and less chance of failure. The Mass battery charger is also insensitive to electromagnetic effects of other devices you may have on board. They have been tested at full capacity without stopping and have a MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) of 180,000 hours.
They have one main outlet to optimally charge a battery bank and guarantee a long lifespan for your batteries even with daily and intensive use. There is a second outlet which is used for maintenance charge of your starter battery. The 3-STEP+ charging memory ensures more power and a longer life for your batteries. Mass chargers feature a Current Control function which prevents the fuses being blown when the voltage drops. It is also MasterBus compatible, meaning they can be connected easily to a MasterBus system where you can operate and monitor all Mastervolt devices in one panel. The Mastervolt Mass series of battery chargers are designed to be GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System) compatible so you can comply with SOLAS (Safety Of Life At Sea) guidelines.
