The Outwell Backroads Awning Room is designed to attach to compatible cassette awnings measuring approximately 260–270 cm by 200 cm. Once installed, the annexe creates an enclosed sheltered space beneath your existing awning canopy, helping protect against wind, sun and light rain.

Constructed from Outtex® 4000 Select polyester, the awning room delivers reliable weather protection with a 4000 mm hydrostatic head waterproof rating. The durable fabric also includes UPF 30+ UV protection and PFAS-free water repellency for long-lasting outdoor performance. The integrated “in one” pitching system simplifies setup while maintaining a secure and stable structure. With a compact pack size and manageable touring weight, the Backroads Awning Room is designed for campervan travellers who want additional shelter without adding excessive bulk to their camping equipment.

Suitable for vehicles with an awning attachment height of 175–200 cm, this cassette awning enclosure is commonly used with campervans such as VW Transporter models, Mercedes V-Class and Vito, Ford Transit Custom and similar vans.
