Outwell Desert Van Driveaway Awning Campervan 175-205cm Low

The Outwell Desert Van is a compact drive-away awning designed for campervans and smaller vans with an attachment height of 175–205 cm. Constructed using Outtex® 3000 Select CARE polyester, it provides reliable 3000mm waterproof protection and UPF 30+ UV resistance while incorporating recycled materials for a more environmentally conscious choice.

Built with anodised aluminium 6061-T8 poles (16 mm), the Desert Van offers excellent structural strength while remaining lightweight at just 10.1 kg. The flysheet-first pitching design improves setup in wet conditions, while the sewn-in double-coated polyethylene groundsheet enhances weather protection and internal comfort.

Unlike the Sand Van tailgate model, the Desert Van features a full drive-away connection system, allowing you to detach your vehicle and leave the awning freestanding while exploring.

Compatible with a wide range of vehicles including VW T5/T6/T6.1 (Multivan, Caravelle, Transporter, California), Mercedes-Benz W639/W447 (V-Class, Vito, Marco Polo), Peugeot Rifter, Citroën Berlingo, VW Caddy and similar vehicles. Suitable for both tailgate and rear barn door versions.
