Overview

The Outwell Event Lounge XL is a spacious freestanding shelter designed to create a comfortable outdoor living area for camping, caravanning, outdoor events, family gatherings, and garden use. Offering an impressive 4m x 4m footprint, it provides generous covered space while maintaining excellent accessibility and standing headroom throughout.

Details

Constructed from durable Outtex® 1500 Select Silver polyester, the Event Lounge XL combines weather protection with effective sun shielding. The silver-coated flysheet reflects sunlight while providing UPF 50+ protection, helping to create a more comfortable environment during warmer weather.

The freestanding structure offers complete flexibility when positioning your shelter, while the spacious design comfortably accommodates seating, tables, camping furniture, cooking areas, or communal gathering spaces. Large entrance openings on every side make access easy and help maintain excellent airflow throughout the shelter.

Apex ventilation helps reduce heat build-up, while practical additions such as mesh storage pockets and a central lantern hanging point improve campsite organisation and usability after dark. The robust 19mm steel pole frame delivers reliable stability, and the shelter can be connected to compatible Event Lounge models using an optional gutter system to create even larger covered areas.

Optional sidewalls are available separately, allowing you to add additional privacy and weather protection when required.
