Product Information

The Victron MultiPlus-II 12V 230V / 3000VA / 120-32A is a combined inverter and battery charger. Its inverter gives 3000VA continuous output at 25°C and 5500W peak power, its charger delivers up to 120A, and it has a 32A transfer switch.

It also works as an uninterrupted AC power supply (UPS function): if the grid fails, or shore or generator power is disconnected, the inverter takes over the supply to the connected loads in less than 20 milliseconds, so computers and other electronic equipment keep running without disruption. With PowerAssist it prevents overload of a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore power connection: first battery charging is reduced, then the output of the generator or shore supply is boosted with power taken from the battery. It is the key component in a Victron ESS (Energy Storage System) and has built-in anti-islanding.

For 12V battery systems: the inverter input range is 9.5-17V DC and the charger input is 187-265V AC (45-65Hz). The inverter output is 230V AC ±2%, 50Hz ± 0.1%. The unit is rated IP22 and works from -40°C to +65°C, at a humidity of max 95% (non-condensing). It measures 546mm high, 268mm wide and 147mm deep and weighs 19kg.
