Product Information

The Stronghold Atlas caravan wheel clamp is for caravans and trailers. Its arm design allows use with steel or alloy wheels, and it fits wheels with tyres up to 265mm wide. The clamp is made from hardened steel with a PVC coating that prevents damage to wheel rims, is painted high-visibility yellow and weighs under 5Kg. It comes with two M12 x 1.5 Sold Secure locking wheel bolts and key: once fitted, the bolts can be left in place, and the clamp itself fits in around 10 seconds.

Suitability

For caravans and trailers with steel or alloy wheels and tyres up to 265mm wide. The wheel needs at least 20mm clearance between the wheel rim and any brake assembly; if one wheel does not have it, another may. The clamp can be fitted to nearside and offside wheels.

The locking wheel bolts replace two diagonally opposed wheel bolts. The bolts you remove must be the same thread length, size and pitch as the locking wheel bolts supplied (M12 x 1.5 x 24.5mm); if in doubt, check your vehicle handbook. Tighten the locking wheel bolts to your vehicle's recommended torque and do not use an impact wrench.
